Demonology As News (2)

If any further proof was needed that the British press is part and parcel of the morally low little continent across the channel, the latest demonology from the Guardian would clinch it. According to this "article" (at ths writing number six on blogdex), Israeli soldiers are targeting Arab children for murder - a slander that neither reporter Chris McGreal or his publisher find need to prove. And why would they? The Guardian's invention at Jenin flew quite nicely, thank you. At least before it was soundly debunked. And just as it did then, the Guardian is quoting Palestinian sources without comment:

The PCHR [Palestinian Centre for Human Rights] says they were victims of "indiscriminate shooting, excessive force, a shoot-to-kill policy and the deliberate targeting of children.

Remarkable innit? Especially given the Jewish blood that the oil-enthralled forbearers of Guardian Chairman Paul Myners and Editor Alan Rusbridger are accountable for. It was the British, of course, that sealed off Palestine to the Jews and in so doing guaranteed that one million Jewish children - got the number? - would be murdered by the rampaging European Christianists, then led by Hitler. Oddly enough, the "pretext" for that attack was precisely the same as the one penned on Monday by Mr. McGeal - Jews are not human.

I can't imagine anyone who considers himself a human being can do this.

That's the by now familiar New Testament paraphrase that's plastered above McGoebbel's report; a report that somehow fails to mention the admitted Arab policy of targeting Jewish women and children.

If the world needed a single reason to put the British Empire out of business in the wake of World War Two - and there were many - the closing off of Palestine to the fleeing Jews was surely the one. Indeed, a decade or so prior to that touch, the same greedy bunch had appropriated eighty percent of the land that the League of Nations had in prescience set aside as a Jewish sanctuary. Now, their guilt-ridden grandchildren would have us believe that the Jews practice genocide. Europe is never more self-revealing than when it tries to cleanse its conscience about the Holocaust by defaming the Jews, and we haven't a doubt that the latest blood libel is part of a run up to another attempted slaughter. Americans, of course, will never truck that. If we must tolerate anti-Semitism in order to have an ally in Europe, then let us go without one.
