Democracy for the Middle East

Want Ratings? Retire Liberal Version Of MidEast

You'd think that by now the failing CNN would get the message, but today's story on the Sharon disengagement plan is pure, sleep-inducing,
Arab-Israeli "conflict" journafil. Start with the photo of an impatient Bush being upstaged by a boorish Sharon (the AP shot is clearly this month's BBC Gargjew winner), continue with the "enraged Arabs" routine (we know it plays in the European market, but can someone please find a stereotype that we can take seriously), and wrap up with the suggestion that Israeli political objectives were procured at the expense of peace (meaning a blank check to the Arabs for the genocide of this religious minority), in the face of justice (you want justice? how about gangsta rap publisher Time-Warner getting snookered by Case?), and due to the arm-twisting of the overbearing-as-Sharon Jewish-American lobby (in the wake of the Gibson scourge, 75% of Americans still don't believe that the Jews murdered God.) The truth is that CNN is likely to remain a distant number two in cable news until it realizes that the Arab gangsta rap doesn't sell anymore.
