The Judeo-Christian Tradition has imbued the West with a spiritual/moral/cultural compass that Islam cannot match. Even during the so-called "Golden Age" of Islam, Jews, Christians, Zoroastrians, and other non-Islamic holdouts were always second-class citizens. Islamic rule for them was and still is called The Dhimmitude. Indonesian Catholic schoolgirls are beheaded by these "heroic" jihadis. In Jordan, Muslims are growling that the problem with the suicide bombers at the Amman hotels killed Muslims. If they had only killed Jews and Christians--not a problem. If we refuse to stand up for our civilisation, we deserve annihilation. I, for one, will stand up to the very last moment of my life with Western, Judeo-Christian civilisation. Our God is a merciful God. Our Judeo-Christian civilisation was the best hope for the world. Islam is not a peaceful religion. I excuse only the Sufis who are regarded as heretics by many Muslims.
