The Wire Service On Which The MSM Depends

Check out Reuter's disingenuous depiction of Middle East history (below), omitting Britain's responsibility for installing the Hashemite family to rule over the Palestinians (while unilaterally appropriating and renaming Eastern Palestine) and grossly mischaracterizing the religiously motivated 1948 Arab war of genocide on the UN-mandated Jewish homeland. Notwithstanding Reuter's efforts to discredit those who doubt Jordan's legitimacy, the only "ultra-nationalist" in this story is the ubiquitous British wire service.

The Hashemites assumed power in Jordan after it was carved out of British Mandate Palestine in 1922. The country's native Palestinian population was swollen by refugees from the 1948 war in which Israel was founded.

It's hard to see how the MSM will regain crediblity while it depends on a foreign wire service with more interest in the news than professional standards dictate.
